Cynicism

It's strange. I don't consider myself a cynical person in general. In fact, I'm quite idealistic most of the time. But I have one class where I always find myself getting cynical. I have negative feelings and my whole outlook on the world changes. I don't understand why this is. I don't know if it's the teacher or if it's the class itself, but something going on in that class just brings out the cynicism in me. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Does this ever happen to anyone else?

It used to. I just stopped going to class. :P (Alternatively, I'd argue a lot.)

Yes. Actually, it wasn't just one class, it was high school in general. I wasn't a cynic before high school.

Your blog gives off a positive, idealistic vibe. Some classes just feel bad. I try to be mindful of feelings, but try to turn my experiences into positive ones. You seem like the person that has it in you to do that.

For instance, I didn't like this new job I got at first. But I've been trying my hardest and make myself like it by focusing on the positives instead of the negatives. I'm starting to enjoy going to this new job now.
