Daf Yummies

Mavis invented a concept called "Daf Yummies." I assume it's a kind of candy. I think these should really exist.

Straight Man invented a concept called "TGIK" which stands for "Thank God It's Kosher" and is a chain of restaurants in random places where you would not think of finding kosher food. These should really exist, too.

Chag sameach everyone!

I love TGIK as an extension of TGIF (Thank God It's Fridays...)

This is Chana, btw, just too lazy to sign in right now.

If he opens a store where I live, I'd be a faithful customer. Kosher is considered "hip" now and I'm sure there's a potential market somewhere.

Who are Mavis and Straight Man?

Okay, disregard my previous comment. I KNEW they sounded familiar from somewhere.

SJ - love the name! Our shul's cookbook was called "Eat, It's Good" - but in Spanish. I guess the goal was to be evocative of grandmothers urging food onto their offspring.
